In this post I share some things I noticed in a certain episode of "Family or Fiancé", a reality TV show where couples try to convince their families to accept their spouses. If you consider certain aspects of African culture you may realize that the disagreements in this episode may be more complicated than it looks.
I went to the 2018 Juneteenth festival in San Francisco a few weeks ago. It took place on Fillmore Street in the Western Addition Neighborhood. The event was well attended and I was able to get a few good photos. I missed the parade but I was still able to see the car show, eat delicious food and checkout some of the business in the Bay Area.
